Hey! So Glad You're Here.

Hi, my name is Alex Richard. I am currently a student at the University of Maine Orono, as a journalism major with a minor in film. I am from a small town in Vermont called Morrisville, where my graduating class was under 60 people. My first love is and always has been sports. I am a contributor for The Maine Campus, where I cover national and UMaine sports.

 

My love for film started out young, watching 2000s superhero movies with my dad. My true deep dive into the movie world occurred after seeing Everything, Everywhere, All at Once. I left the theaters and had a brand-new feeling about what a great movie could be.

On this website, I will be covering the things about movies that I enjoy, whether that be award season, any new releases, or a classic film that I am just getting around to seeing. That will come in many forms, long-term and short form content, including a podcast coming soon. My dream is to be able to go to film festivals around the world and be able to interview the biggest movie stars.
